	First Ever: The Family Sweep!!! Winning 1st, 2nd and 3rd, our family and horses stole the show! NEFHC Classic - June 27, 2009 Anne Wiske T. - 1st (blue), Bouke H. - 2nd(red), Magellan - 3rd(yellow), out of a class of 9!

Anne Wiske T. (Ster) (Anton 343 Sport x Feitse 293 Pref) "Anna" is the sweetest mare with lots of heart. Always looking for a hug, she is multi-faceted, excelling in whatever you ask. She loves to show, including In-hand (see above photo), Dressage, Huntseat, Costume, Western, Trail, swimming, and in 2010 started Cowboy Mounted Shooting!	In 2010, Anna began "competing" at the canter and pulled down some beautiful winnings despite her learning curve at the shows. While mastering her canter leads, she quickly became a top winner in the ring, excelling her to be one of the most favored Friesians in the show ring this year. "Auntie Anna" continues to lead little Elsje on her ponying journeys and also started Cowboy Mounted Shooting this year! Bouke H. (Ster) (Anton 343 Sport x Falke) " "Bocca's" playful and adoring personality brightens all our days. Sweet, smart and willing, Bouke continues to excel in Huntseat, Western, and is a proven leader in the Junior Competitor and Amateur divisions as he continues to confirm years past of Trail riding, Dressage, Drill Team and Costume. Bouke is a true testament to the Friesian breed.	Bouke"and Alexis have become a show favorite, captivating a following all their own. Winning in the top ribbons, their 2010 show season was on fire, following a phenomenal 2009 show season. Bouke continues to prove himself, yet again, as a true performance man, showing off whenever he enters the ring. Magellan (3e) (Gerlof 294 x Marko) Magellan is known as the 'Steady Eddie' of our clan. Taking in all the children dish out to him, he is a proven winner in Hunt Seat, Dressage, Western Pleasure, Costume and loves his roadside trail rides, swimming and visiting the neighbors for mints. The only thing that scares him, is the prospect of being late for dinner. Uncle Magellan oversees all of Elsje's world.	Magellan had a lighter competition year in 2010 as he stayed home to watch over Elsje. He went to the Northeast Friesian Classic Horse Show and carefully took a new Junior Rider - Lauren, and his owner Peter to the winners circle for various wins. Magellan met most of his exercise this year in Trail Riding with Alexis. Onyx M. (Ster) (Tsjerk 328 Sport Pref x Leffert 306 Sport Pref) Onyx is a one in a million, our diamond in the rough. Always the first at the gate, she insists on being noticed. Playful and silly, Onyx's movements and float are unmatched by any. Giving her a little extra maturity time from formal training, she became a fantastic mom to Elsje in May of 2009. Attracting so many at her Keur in 2008 and then by the judges in 2009 while showing off her baby, she will surely be the next performance mama!	Onyx M., up and coming, began her Dressage training, Driving and Trail riding to prepare for 2010's show and 2010 Keuring. Traveling all the way to Maryland for her formal training with International FEI Dressage Trainer, Julio Mendoza, Onyx quickly adapted to her new disciplines. Within the first month, she had Alexis confidently ride her walk/trot. Her following summer months of training coupled with her competent and willing nature, Onyx competed at Devon in Pennsylvania, while only under saddle for 3 months. Onyx performed her IBOP test at the 2010 Keuring under a typically grueling 9 minute Dressage type test. Elsje Onyx (3e) (Lolke 271 Sport x Tsjerk 328 Sport Pref) Elsje Onyx is our newest addition, born right here on our farm (5/1/2009). What else can be said for her except, precious. She never fails to keep her angelic halo above her ears.	Elsje has the sweetest personality. Beginning her ponying with "Auntie Anna" and "Uncle Magellan", she already displays her show quality desire to please. She already knows her verbal walk, trot and canter commands, making it real easy to have her tag along on a trail ride. In 2010 Elsje went to her first 'Northeast Friesian Classic Horse Show".
